yellow, red & black boiler bands

  • We make the transfer in:
    1. 7mm = 1ft scale
    2. plus others when requested

  • This transfer is correct for green-liveried NBR locomotives in the Reid period.

  • The boiler bands are a scale 2in (1.2mm) wide and we make them in scale 25ft (175mm) lengths

  • Each length of transfer is adequate for a boiler band on the NBR Atlantic with a bit to spare.

  • We suggest that you apply the boiler bands directly to the boiler cladding, omitting the raised boiler band. (The transfer is about the scale thickness of a boiler band and it is very difficult to apply a dry transfer to a 3 dimensional curve, as would be the case on a raised boiler band).

  • We can make boiler band transfers for black-liveried NBR locomotives
